We plan to launch the first Shamrock peace appeal on St Patrick’s Day in 2017 in Ireland.
The initiative was started on St Patrick’s Day 2015, seed funding was secured in April and there is growing support being provided by key agencies and individuals. We plan to have a ‘soft-launch’ in early 2016, with a public launch being planned for 2017. In the coming months we plan to:
Register as a charity in Ireland
Deepen partnerships with key stakeholders and attract further high-profile support
Develop our strategy and a business plan for the next 12 months
Secure support and funding for the first public appeal in 2017, including the soft-launch in 2016
Work towards the soft launch in 2016 and the pilot launch in 2017.
